Aurora Borealis Theme for Claude Code

The Codigrate Aurora Borealis theme for Claude Code. Preview the screenshot and the palette, then get it in a few steps.

Inspired by the Arctic night sky and the slow drift of the Northern Lights, this theme blends deep navy and teal shadows with luminous blue and green accents to create a calm yet vivid coding environment. Dark, cool backgrounds keep the editor restful, while bright cyans, fresh greens, and soft lavenders add clarity and energy to key syntax elements.

Getting started on Claude Code

  1. Download the theme with the Download button. It is one file named after the theme, for example codigrate-london.json; keep the name as is.
  2. Move the file into your Claude Code themes folder, ~/.claude/themes/. If the folder is not there yet, create it in a terminal: mkdir -p ~/.claude/themes
  3. In Claude Code, type /theme and pick the theme from the list, for example Codigrate London. It applies at once.
  4. For the best result, install the same theme for your terminal too ( Ghostty, iTerm2 or macOS Terminal ): Claude Code colors code with your terminal's colors, so with the matching terminal theme the code reads like the theme in your IDE.
